玛菲特小姐 Little Miss Muffet

One fine and sunny day, the beautiful Little Miss Muffet was feeling very happy and peaceful when she decided to sit on a stool, in the middle of the forest, to eat her porridge.  A ratty tatty spider was feeling cheeky and he knew that when he sat down next to Miss Muffet, he would scare her to death, as his eyes were as dark as night and his eight long, furry legs were squirming like tentacles. He was ready.  

His cold but tiny voice barked out, "Hey, you! I'm a spider". Little Miss Muffet looked around for the source of the strange little voice and did not see anything.  She let out a little sigh and held both hands on her chest. Then she heard another cold but tiny voice saying:”Hey, you, Little Miss Muffet! I’m a spider.” She shook her head, put her hands down and there she touched the bad spider with her little fingers!  Good god, a spider was sitting next to her.  Little Miss Muffet let out a scream.  She stood up without thinking and began to run, dropping the bowl of porridge behind her. The spider exploded with contentment and laughter.  He started to sing while eating Little Miss Muffet’s porridge:

Little Miss Muffet

Sat on a tuffet

Eating her curds and whey

Along came a big spider

and sat down beside her

And frightened Miss Muffet away

这是一个大晴天，美丽的玛菲特小姐决定坐在森林中间的凳子上吃乳酪，感到非常幸福与安宁。一只肥腻的蜘蛛非常淘气，它知道如果坐在玛菲特小姐的边上，肯定会把她吓倒。因为它的眼睛像黑夜一样黑，它的八根长而弯曲的腿像触须一样在蠕动。它准备好了。

然后，他用冷冷而微弱的声音说：“嘿，你，玛菲特小姐！我是蜘蛛。”

她摇摇头，手放下，她的小指头触到这只坏蜘蛛，天哪！它就坐在自己边上，她发出一声尖叫，站起来，赶紧奔跑，将那碗乳酪丢在了身后。蜘蛛得意地大笑了起来，边吃玛菲特小姐丢下的乳酪，边唱开了：

And frightened Miss Muffet away
